Mule Deer

All mule deer hunts are conducted on private land with a large population of deer. Mule deer hunts are priced at $5000 for a 5 day, all inclusive hunt. Hunters also must pay either $34 in-state or $329 for an out-of-state license. Some hunts may be subject to landowner voucher fees. Deer season begins in late October.  All licenses are draw-only and the application deadline is early April.


Elk

Elk

All elk hunts take place on private land in secluded areas. There are a limited number of hunts available. Elk hunts are priced at $8000 for a 5 day, all inclusive hunt. Hunters must also pay either $34 in-state or $544 for an out-of-state license. Elk season begins on September 1 and ends on January 31. All licenses are guaranteed over-the-counter.


Black Bear

Black Bear

Black bear hunts are conducted on private land in very secluded areas. All black bear hunts are spot-and-stalk hunts. There are a limited number of hunts available. Black bear hunts are priced at $200 per day plus a $1500 kill fee for a 5 day hunt. Hunters also must pay either $44 in-state or $354 for an out-of-state license.  Bear season begins in early September and licenses are available over-the-counter.


Elk

Mountain Lion

All lion hunts are conducted on private land in southeastern Colorado, and are done horseback, with a pickup or ATV, or on foot.   Mountain lion hunts can be very physically demanding, as it is not uncommon to spend most of a day horseback or on foot following the hounds. Lion hunts are all inclusive, 6 day hunts and are priced at $200 per day plus a $2000 kill fee. Hunters must also pay either $41 in-state or $354 for an out-of-state license. Mountain lion season starts in mid-November and ends on March 31. All licenses are guaranteed, over-the-counter.

Pronghorn Antelope

All antelope hunts are conducted on private land with a large population of antelope. Antelope hunts are priced at $1500 for a 3 day, all inclusive hunt. Hunters must also pay either $34 in-state or $329 for an out-of-state license. Some hunts may be subject to landowner voucher fees. Antelope season begins in early October.  All licenses are draw-only and the application deadline is early April.


Elk
Turkey Hunt, Sept, 2010

Turkey

We have a very large number of Merriam turkey. We are able to hunt turkey both in the fall and in the spring and success is high for both seasons. Turkey hunts are 3 day, all inclusive hunts. These hunts are priced at $750 for a guided hunt. Hunters must also pay either $21 in-state or $101 for an out-of-state license. Fall season runs from September 1 through October 22, spring season is usually early April through May. All licenses are guaranteed, over-the-counter.
