Elk
Mountain Lion Hunt

Mountain Lion

All lion hunts are conducted on private land in southeastern Colorado, and are done horseback, with a pickup or ATV, or on foot.   Mountain lion hunts can be very physically demanding, as it is not uncommon to spend most of a day horseback or on foot following the hounds. Lion hunts are $3000 for a 7 day hunt. Hunters must also pay either $41 in-state or $351 for an out-of-state license. Mountain lion season starts on November 18, 2013 and ends on March 31, 2014.   We also have a spring season which begins on April 1 and ends on April 30, 2014.  All licenses are guaranteed, over-the-counter.
